ATA at the Volunteering Gala

The NGOs from Arad County, presented in a guide edited for the Volunteering Gala 2015

On the second of December, at the „Ioan Slavici” Classical Theater in Arad, took place the 5th edition of The Volunteering Gala, an event that already became a tradition in our city. At this gala, the best projects and entities who had volunteering activities during the year of 2015 have been rewarded for their implication. The prizes have been divided into seven sections: culture, sport and tourism, ecology, social, entrepreneurship, health and education. A total of 32 organizations and individuals have been rewarded in this year’s gala. Also, the Arad County Direction for Sports and Youth edited and gave away an NGO Guide, aiming to improve the cooperation between the NGOs in Arad and also promoting their activities.

In the Culture section, the Alternative Tourism Association received a honorary diploma for their implication in the life of the society and for promoting the values of volunteering. The Association has been represented at the festivity by two of the founding members – Vladimir Cristea and Mario Csipai. We are thankful to the organizers of the Gala – Organizația Tinerilor cu Inițiativă and The Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sports – for appreciating our work!
